Milestones ™ in music, LLC opened its new Studio in Lansdale on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 227 S. broad Street located. The new facility offers from three months up to the age of six years of weekly classes for students. In these parent and child classes are students in the musical world by vocal sounds, imitation, rhyme, tonal recognition, instrument exploration and creative movement. Students are also multicultural music and learn musical symbols.
With the opening of the Studio, milestones in music has autism also added movement therapy classes. "Autism movement therapy combined a structured program of movement and the left and right hemispheres of the brain for a 'whole brain' connect music, cognitive re-mapping approach, which significantly increases the concentration, focus and social interaction in the child," says Judy Jones, owner and Director of the milestones in the music. "We are a resource for parents and plan, it is in any way we can support and be involved with the autism community."
The new milestones in the Music Studio will offer private music lessons for those in the age of six by adults. Classes are offered in piano, flute, guitar and violin.
Milestones in music offers classes for students in the field of Lansdale since 2003. They provide in addition to their Studio music curricula and instruction for area daycare centers. Both settings can use them more than to reach 1,200 students per week with their user-defined programs.
