Leading intimate apparel news source the lingerie journal launches a new lingerie trade show in New York City this summer.
The first edition of the lingerie journal designer showcase premieres by July 30, Aug 2 in the AKA hotel in New York City. The showcase is promoting independent lingerie designer and find smaller lingerie brands to present their collections to buyers in an intimate and relaxed environment.
"The designer showcase is a purchasing experience, which together brings lingerie designers and buyers," says Luis Paredes, editor of lingerie. "It is economical for the exhibitors and a great way for buyers to single business with Designer."
The inspiration for Designer showcase arose from the desire to improve the New York lingerie trade fair experience for exhibitors and buyers, Paredes said.
